Dr. Jane speaks to the fact that “Not All Stem Cells Are The Same”

I want you to meet Dr. Jane Hendricks, the owner of Stem Cell For Life. Welcome to Sonora Living. Thank you.
I have questions for you, How long have you been doing this? I’ve been practicing medicine for 22 years. I started administering stem cell treatments in 2017, both intravenous and joint injections.
OK, well, let’s talk about that. I hear a lot about it. What kind of conditions do you treat with the stem cells? It’s the same conditions as I’ve been treating for 22 years. Autoimmune conditions respond great to stem cell therapy. So when you think of Crohn’s Disease or Long Covid, these respond very well. I was a frontline Covid doctor and it’s been great for these patients. It works wonderfully for cardiovascular, heart disease and diabetes..a very wide range. I think of it for the joints. With the IV, it’s a wide variety.

All right, let’s talk about the stem cells, right because this is where your part comes in and you get this. So we google it, we get all kinds of information. So what do you do? So I administer umbilical cord derived mesenchymal stem cells. Most patients are award of the adipose and bone marrow, but the umbilical cord stem cells have become much more popular in the last 5 to 6 years. The market is saturated with both distributors and clinics. Ok, but all stem cells are not created equal, right? And you’re very passionate about this. So what are some of the things you want your patients to know about with the stem cells? It’s the same things that I want to know from the sales rep about the product they are selling to me. So the questions that I’m asking them, like show me the certificate. The viability of the stem cells, the patients should be asking the same questions of the clinic. The viability, number of stem cells, where did it come from, is the clinic getting it from overseas or processing it themselves or are they buying it from an FDA registered lab. Ok, and does it make a difference in the quality and longevity of the treatment? Yes, it makes a difference on the quality and longevity. I spoke to a person who was looking to get a 6th stem cell IV. Where my patients do well on just one, maybe two treatments for years! Does it depend on the type of condition you’re treating? It depends on how advanced…how long did the patient wait. So it’s like with any medical therapy, it’s better to treat it early especially in the area of integrative or alternative medicine. Let’s get it early on.

Do you work in conjunction with other therapies? Yes, I’m a full service clinic. That’s a really good question. I hear about these other places send a nurse practioner to your home to do a mobile IV and there’s no follow up And you’re sent back to your specialist. I’ve been treating autoimmune conditions long before stem cells came onto the scene. We’re a full service clinic. We offer frequency medicine, I’m guiding you on supplements and diet, so I’m following you for 6 months. If you get two IVs, I’m following you for a year. Ok, so that all comes into play during your consultation..how many treatments, what kind of follow up because it sounds like you’re in it for the long haul. Yes, so patients should ask how many stem cells they’re getting. The FDA trials, it’s not number of treatments like in chiropractic visits, it’s the number of stem cells for this medical condition. Oh wow, I told you she’s full of information. Google, she’s google right now when it comes to stem cells.

Dr. Hendricks, thank you so much. You’re welcome.
